Half Way There.... and traveling with your prayers!

Well we have arrived to our half-way destination!  After a wonderful send-off with prayers and well wishes from our family, Pastor Jay and Chris Rudolph, we headed out well equipped with   games and fun from Jane!  We breezed through Chicago and headed down to Indiana for lunch.  Much to our dismay, the cool front you all were blessed with has not made it down this way.... I think the thermometer on the vans topped out at 108 !!!!!!  Lots of fun in the vans and air-conditioning kept all feeling good.
We rolled into the KOA at about 5:15...  What a great spot... had pizza by the pool and had lots of fun at the go-cart park and back in our cabins.  We are being pampered with air conditioners in our camping cabins thank goodness!  We have gone through all our gatorade and 3 cases of water so no worries... all are well hydrated!  Keep the prayers coming for smooth sailing for our travels tomorrow.  The kids are all awesome and already are making new friendships and building on old ones!  AND... the youth leaders are doing well too!

Send off!

Finally got a good KOA group shot!

  2. Hey IMPACT Group! Just checking in, praying for cooler weather for all 'ya all....It did get cooler here, 87 today, not humid, but still no rain! So if you could pray for rain back home, that would be great!

I was wondering who won the "Road-Kill Bingo" game on your way to Tennessee? Who had the most hood/antenna ornaments?

Ask yourself...will they see Jesus when they look at me??? There is more to your life than you ever thought!

May this coming week be even more than you ever dreamed it could be.

  3. Said some prayers for all of you work campers & chaperones as we practiced singing, "Send Me Out" today at SOTH. All of you truly are "the hands and feet" of Christ. Giving of yourselves in such a personal and sacrificial manner continues to build up the "body of Christ" here in our midst! You guys/girls rock! Mike
